HUNTSVILLE, Alabama – North Alabama residents who wish to air their grievances about the Deepwater Horizon oil spill of April 2010 will get their chance June 5 during public briefings in Huntsville, Birmingham and Cullman.
Alabama Attorney General Luther Strange and court-appointed BP Oil claims adjuster Patrick Juneau will be available from 9-10 a.m. at the Cullman Area Chamber of Commerce, 301 Second Ave. S.W.; 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Chamber of Commerce of Huntsville/Madison County, 225 Church St.; and 3:30-4:30 p.m. at Harbert Center, 2019 Fourth Ave. in Birmingham.
Strange and Juneau will help businesses and individuals understand the eligibility and proof requirements for submitting a claim under the BP Oil Spill Settlement.
