Cullman Regional Medical Center evacuated Sunday

CULLMAN, Alabama – The Cullman Regional Medical Center staff is back to business as usual this afternoon after a bomb threat caused the facility to evacuate nearly 300 patients, family members and staff Sunday night.

The bomb threat was called in to the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office around 8:30 p.m., around the same time that Marshall Medical Centers North and South received similar threats.

The Cullman Regional Medical Center was evacuated until almost midnight, due to similar threats made by an irate patient in the Emergency Department last week, marketing and public relations manager Lindsey Dossey said.
