BIRMINGHAM, Alabama – In their zeal to make sure Americans can buy all the bullets they want some Republicans want to cut back on how much ammo federal law enforcement agencies can buy.
The Hill newspaper reported this weekend that Oklahoma Sen. Jim Inhofe and Rep. Frank Lucas, both Republicans, have introduced a bill that would put limits on how many bullets all federal agencies could purchase each year. The limits would not apply to the U.S. military.
