Campaign events hold the potential to offer up some pretty uncomfortable scenarios. This is especially true when more power is given to audience members and hecklers work their way up to the microphone.
This morning, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney had an awkward encounter with a man in Green Bay, Wisconsin, when the individual started listing what CBN’s David Brody referred to as controversial “quotes” from the Book of Mormon.
As Brody notes, in a video captured of the incident it appears as though one of Romney’s staffers is trying to get the man to stop. Then, the presidential candidate tells the man he’s not at the political event to have a conversation about religion.
