Critics of the law said Monday they’ve sent letters to Mercedes-Benz parent Daimler AG, Honda and Hyundai seeking meetings to discuss the law. The president of the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, Wade Henderson, says opponents want the companies to help them fight to overturn the law.
Company representatives didn’t immediately return messages seeking comment. But the critics of the law say Hyundai has agreed to an initial meeting.
